Layomi Akinrinade

Layomi Akinrinade is a visual artist based in Seattle, WA. Working through instinctive abstraction, his paintings wrestle with perception, memory, and the desire for resolution. His photographic work captures cultural resilience, urban solitude, and the ways African youth—on the continent and in the diaspora—remix media and redefine global culture. Across both mediums, Layomi’s practice explores the shifting nature of identity, heritage, and futurity in a fragmented world.
